So what did you do to your 6.0L today?
I've been running a FICM flash without inductive heating and have been experiencing some seriously ugly starts. When warm, the truck starts reasonably, when cold, it doesn't crisply bark to life.
I was randomly searching craigslist and scored a full set of injectors for a whopping $250. They came out of a running truck that upgraded to 205cc injectors. (oilfield money, guy had no patience and had them built from new injectors and must've paid whatever core charge too) I re-oringed them replaced all the injectors on the passenger side, resealed the nipple cup O-rings, and immediately noticed a difference once I worked the air out of the system.
The true test came yesterday morning. The truck sat for 12 hours and it was 36 degrees that morning, I used the remote start and it fired crisply and with authority like it should and continues to do so. (even though I'm running a FICM without inductive heat)
Throttle response is smoother and much better too

Took the dashboard apart again and removed the instrument cluster to change the bulbs. Well, as it turns out my cluster uses 74LL bulbs, not 194LL. Dang nabit. Put it all back together. I will grab some 74LL bulbs locally later on and try again tomorrow.
The rear of the cluster only has brown twist out bulb holders, not some white and some brown like I have read about. The only white on the back of the cluster is the housings for each needle mechanism.
Uh Oh. Just had a moment of deja vu while writing the last sentence.

Won't sound like much but i did the hi idle mod to my 06 f350 today. My truck came with the factory trailer brake but not the upfitter switches or the wiring. I spent about 45 minutes looking and planning and about 10 minutes actually doing the mod now i just hve her in park and step on the park break and boom 1200 rpm`s.
