Clean it up and look for an aftermarket pump since I found none from Ford, keep it for a spare.

Hit a local tire shop when they opened. Got new tires last week, took the warranty, and lo and behold, I found a nail in the side wall, last night. These folks are very professional and I'm glad I've done business with them. No games no gimmicks no fees. New tire replaced free of charge.

Hey John,
I made a note of these numbers (posted by cheezit IIRC) a while back. May help some in your search.

Options for the fuel pump only:

PFP58054 - Parker-Hannifin (Racor)
HFP964 - Delphi
AIRTEX Part # E2340

6C3Z-9G282-AA is an older part number for Ford's entire HFCM (which contains the actual fuel pump). This part was superceded by part number 6C3Z-9G282-C. You can get the updated part from Ford for around $280. The ebay HFCM is no bargain IMO.

The pump itself is around $175.

Parker-Hannifin (Racor) is the one who made the original unit.. Ford just re-badged it as their own... so long as you can get the parts from Parker i wouldnt worry about it..

God Bless you!

I watched that first video, and some of the symptoms matched what I've been trying to chase down in my F150. I can't tell you how much I've Googled and tried on it, so it's just been sitting around for the most part, and now I have something more to look at! Thanks!
Heck I'll even give you reps for that!

Well, I know it wasn't you that made the vid, but thanks for posting it.

would get the updated harness.. cleans it up a little and less risk of water getting in there and shorting it out to throw codes (if there are any for that)... replaced mine.. made it look a lot nicer and no extra plug...

Suicide Spinner

Installed my Suicide Spinner today. Did some fab work to make it a shorty. Tight corners and turns don't require multiple hands or hand grappling anymore. Yay!

Suicide spinner, suicide handle, truckers third hand, granny ****, necker ****, brodie ****. I am sure there are more names. Nothing special. Just makes turns amazingly easy with one hand. There a little dangerous if your not ready for what the road has in front of you, bumps, holes, or letting go too quickly or early going around corners.
