Great! Was just out and heard a rythmic ticking type noise. Figured it was a rock in the front tire. As I am checking out the tread I noticed the front pass side rubber brake line is rubbing the tire when full right turn. New front rubber lines on order. I did not find the cause of the ticking noise. I will look into it more when I pull the front wheels for the brake lines.

Oh and the ground I found at the back of the truck for the camera, it must be a switched ground for something because when I hit the brakes the camera goes out! Uhhhhhh. At least the weather is nice.

I found 1 paint bubble above my drivers side bed wheel well. Pretty mad because my truck really doesn't have much rust.

bought fuel filters and changed out the lower one. no water but a bit of rust and gunk.
went to change the engine mounted one and even being as careful as possible snapped off half the plastic head. ordering a new cap then will finish it.

alos, my 2003 seems to cycle the VGT at idle... hear a big leak off and on but cant find it. sounds like its coming from around the bottom of the turbo or lower at the passenger side where the intake manifold or egr exhaust connection is made.
Going to be doing the oil cooler soon so guess I'll find it then.

Yesterday I did an oil change, washed and waxed it, used some Mothers back to black on the exterior plastic and filled up the fuel tank.

yep. I'll just break down and buy the metal one. The plastic ones seem way overpriced for how the are made.. but so do the metal ones..
