Im thinking about putting the ford orange coolant that comes in 6.7s in my truck when i replace my oil cooler, again. A dyno day i went to had the ford powerstroke training guys and they all seemed to highly recommend the orange coolant, especially for 6.0s
IIRC The new orange coolant shouldn't be used in normal cast iron blocks

Hmm... i will have to read around first. My temps are sitting directly at 190-205 empty on the highway..lol. I have zerex gold in there now, im not sure i feel like switching to ELC just because of the price/availability...
I had an oil cooler put in last july because i had a 30+ degree temp spread, less than 20,000 miles ago. Really hoping this one will last a little longer. And yes it was a motorcraft cooler, and this truck has had so many coolant flushes, along with the coolant filter i've changed probably 3 times since the oil cooler was done, and a few times before that.

My local Walmarts started carrying Prestone Final Charge for a good price.
And fwiw I've always gotten Rotella ELC fat cheaper than equivalent G0-5
