I wish it was like a granny gear! Backing trailers, or backing through the woods (cutting firewood) is a pain needing so much juice, than going way faster than I wanted.
Put your truck in a rut, with a load of wood on it,and try to back up nice and easy.
That's where I would click it into low range.

Give it a try next time. The engine will take alot less effort and is easier on the tranny.

Installed my new Mechman 240 amp S Series alternator.

13 volts at the batteries during GP cycle, 14.7 after.

Not much of a fan of the large charge post sticking straight up, but there is plenty of clearance between it and the hood.

It doesn't come with spacers to make up for small pulley. I was going to try it as is, but the case interfered with the heater hose bolt. Therefore I used some 3/8" spacers I already had laying around rather than grind the case for now.

Just LED headlights

Just LED fog lights

Both

Although in the picture it looks like the LED fog lights are just one beam, well they are, theyre spot beams, i drove with just those on for a while and had no problems. More than enough light to drive with. Very happy with these

You have a link on the fogs you bought? My factory fogs don't play well with my HIDs

Ok, true cold start today... Mechman was showing 13.2-13.6 volts during GP cycle at the OBD port.

Yeah so far. I was a little concerned yesterday with the initial start... Maybe it needed to wake up from its shipping slumber.

It's nice to be able to crank up the defrost etc on initial start rather than wait for the GP to cycle off as I did before.

That Sounds better than Lower 11s, are we suppost to wait before firing up defrost ? I've always cranked it up first thing frosty (not this frosty) but Froossty Mornings.
