Gave the driveshaft a going over. I had a little rumble under my butt at about 35mph. I thought it was the recently added Cooper tires with maybe a balance problem or just choppy tires I was not used to. Problem started getting into other speed ranges and seemed to be better letting off the throttle. Well it finally got to a constant rumble and I parked it. Found a bad ujoint. Replaced all 3 and the carrier bearing with Ford parts from Tasca. I will say rust penetrant/heat and patience are your friends when coaxing the old clips out of the grooves. I did break a couple and then the fun starts trying to get the leftover pieces out. I finally resorted to beating the old carrier bearing off with a cold chisel and hammer. I could not find a suitable puller. No damage was done to the driveshaft if you are careful. A piece of 2-1/2 " pic pipe was used to reinstall the bearing. She's all good now. Don't forget to mark the flanges so you can get it back together in the same way. Also get the lube for the splines. My splines were dry as a bone.

Well I dont know why but I was looking for a 3 jaw. Got the 8" from Harbor Freight and of course too short. I would definitely use a puller over what I did. Next time the 2 jaw!
