Treated the 6.0 this weekend

Between replacing the up pipe, reloading the Atlas 40 (hated the way the Econo FICM tune started and ran), and changing the oil with some Schaeffers 5w40, my engine is now much happier.

Very happy though, 1 owner, clean Carfax, from GA....2013 F150 FX2 w/49k

Please forgive me, fellow 6.0'ers
There is no forgiveness.....Soon there will be regret

Actually you didn't settle at all...I knew someone that had an Ecoboost F150 and while it was nice, it just didn't cut the mustard as a turbocharged V6. He actually went a little upside down and got himself a 5.0 F150.

I rented one in 2012 and they have some serious ***** to them; the roar and growl of a V8 and not to mention 18 mpg.

So far, fricken awesome!

It really quiets the engine down and smooths things out.

Better than the Delo

Does rotating tires count for anything? Been letting my wife tow her horses to some local staging areas (now that we have a Ravelco )...

Your best bet is to call the 1-800 number on there website and ask for the closest sales rep to your location. Not the closest store but the closest sales rep (the person that sells it to the store). You can save about 20% this way if you buy it by the case. I'm sure there are a couple around Houston.

That's the hardest thing about Schaeffer's - finding it, Since they mostly sell in bulk and to large customers. But it's a lot more available than it was 5-10 years ago.

I got it at PSE and it is more expensive but like Mobil 1 it's worth it. A busty of mine is an Ansoil dealer and recommended Schaeffers over the Amsoil he gets at cost factory direct.

Thanks guys, it is a big change from my 250...BUT, it was the best thing for me right now. I really wanted to try the EB-V6 (because I like Turbo's ) but after reading online for a couple weeks, it made my head spin. Kinda like all the 6.0 lovin/bashin, so in the end I decided to just get the "truck" I wanted (meaning Trim & Color) & let fate decide the engine for me.

I'll tell ya this...It's got 2 Cat's, a Resonator & a massive Muffler. Super quiet while idling but while accelerating there is a growl in there just wanting to be unleased. I think this thing will sound amazing after I get an exhaust system

I also want to say THANKS for all the support from the 6.0 community for the last like 5 years
& I'll have to stop by to "troll" every once in awhile

Thanks everyone & enjoy your 6.0's
