Thanks for the tip Gerry. I have a cop buddy that recommended the same thing. He said wait to get a copy of the police report and then check the pawn shops. That way they are legally obligated to hold it as evidence if I find it (showing them the police report is supposed to legally binding I guess).

But this year ill have my 2006 powered up 6.0 (just bought it last October) so he doesnt stand a chance now

Did my blue spring upgrade yesterday (thanks to a leaking gasket) and the high idle mod today...Mark, if you have any info on your Dashdaq, shoot me an email and I'll check the hawk shops around here...doubtful that they'll do anything there...also...check Craigslist...hope you have the serial number for it.

Today I rode in the front seat of a tow truck with mine on the flat bed out back
Did 360 miles no problem on Saturday. Today I got 20 miles before the drivers front wheel started to smoke. Just a few miles before it started to pull light to the left when driving and hard to the right when braking so I knew I had a stuck caliper. Tried to get it home in small jumps but ended up having to call AAA in the end.
Drivers side bottom slide pin stuck and I only did them 20,000 miles / 7 months ago. Thought I did a good job
Just waiting for this thunderstorm to pass to reassemble, so some downtime to browse FTE!

I know I wouldn't have any issue keeping up...more than likely will be sitting the pace since I have the kids in the truck. I was wonder more of will he be able to keep up? The only places he'd get way from me is maybe when I have to stop to fuel up...at 12mpg (with trailer in tow) we burn through a 29 gallon tank pretty quick. There's always next year when I get my two weeks of vacation back. Hopefully I'll have the last of the "accessories" installed by then. That stinks...but hopefully it will be a simple fix without damage to the rotors.

that sucks, but I at least hope it was a Ford...could you imagine the humility if a Dodge was towing one of our trucks?
My last tow job was in the middle of nowhere Colorado...left front hub went...worst part was...I knew it needed changed and was being lazy...look where that got me...lesson learned!

Today I rolled 1500 miles on my freshly installed new ford longblock, complete with a new oil cooler, new heater cores, all new hoses, and cleaned radiator.
So far so good, with EOT and ECT staying within 4-6 degrees on flat ground at stready speeds, and rising up to 11 degrees delta while towing uphill.
It has been a pain dealing with the Ford dealership and warranty company over the last 5 months, and dealing with their half assed repairs that left me on the side of the road sevaral times before they agreed to do it right, but I was fortunate that I only had to start the process of getting a lawyer involved before the Ford dealership agreed to cover all costs and provide a new motor with a 3 yr unlimited mileage warranty
