Pulled out and cleaned a perfectly good turbo
Only thing i can figure is the vgt actuator that moves the unison ring got stuck---it was a little rough until i moved it a bit. Will put it back in tomorrow. Anyone know how much pressure is used to actuate that thing? I also think i have a leaky oil cooler cover or oil filter adapter. Got an oil sheen in the valley and shouldn't have any since I cleaned it when i did the delete. And my puke problem is worse than I thought. Everything on the drivers side around the degas bottle is covered in a coolant slick and the ebp is filled to the top just since I unplugged it. Oh well will be going in to get studded here shortly.

I kind of thought your turbo was good as I posted in that other thread the "huffa, huffa" is what it should do.
Learn something new every day. Sounds like I need to clean mine then, I've always believed that properly working vanes would give you a fart if you stab the throttle and let off fast, showed the vanes actually moved.
So what did you do to your 6.0L today?
Hmm...now i think what we normally hear then isn't a fart but actual turbo spooling and vanes moving then. But the HUFFA HUFFA is very different. Sounds grindy almost. Last time mine did it ebp fixed it. This time ebp didn't but overboosing and getting a POP did. I don't know. I guess if cleaning it didn't do any good I'll start looking for a selenoid.
