I was really looking forward to the new Super Duty, but I have no real need for a diesel for the most part, and it's time for an updated interior.

I didn't know that they were sealed. But from the photo I would say that they are.

I may go that route because I was looking at mine the other day and found I have
the wrong batteries in the truck thanks to the OP. Silly things are 650 CCA WTF!
That would explain the grumpy starts in the winter.

No I got them at Wyoming Machinery, a CAT dealer here. They also have the full strength ELC coolant for $22 a gallon, I don't know if that's a good price or not.

Very nice, Congratulations!

I am amazed though that people can afford new trucks now days. I mean a guy could buy houses around by me for the price of even the cheapest trucks out there. A KR 6.7 F250 price would buy a pretty darn nice house by me. All of which are so far out of my price range it is pitiful. A little jealous I admit but more it just shocks me that that there are jobs out there that pay enough for people to buy trucks like this, plus a house, boat, cars, the whole bit. It makes me feel as though I have been just wasting my time doing everything I have been doing all my life.

Sean, one of the best things I ever did to this truck was to move the HFCM to behind the transfer case. It will be the last time you ever get a diesel bath.

I agree. I would love a 6.7L F350 but I can't see $70K for it. My plan is to keep the Ex for a long time and eventually find a used pickup so I can buy a fifth wheel, I will probably keep the Ex even after that. If I didn't have any other obligations I could afford the F-350 but even then I have other things I need to spend cash on. I plan on buying mountain property before a new truck, a much wiser investment IMO.

My V10 uses at minimum the 750cca but I Have the 850 CCA and would not purchase a 650CCA especially for a diesel.
