Around 9pm last night I went out and cleared off the snow and ice that fell. About 1 inch. I clear off the truck when I am out dong y other 2 cars. Another exciting night! And I am looking forward to do it again tomorrow when we get another 6-8 inches of the fluffy white stuff.
shop called today.. I got Bad news, Good news and Bad news... Said they were able to confirm a problem in my front end.. First bit of bad news they stated they found rust shavings coming out from the Wheel bearing and the Ujoint on the right side and the axle seal was destroyed as well.. the good news.. My warranty will pay for the repair... The last bad news.. I now have to pay them $175 when i go to pick it up after they fix it..
When i asked how much it would be to make the other side match they said it would have been an additional $1700.. NTY... told em just to fix the one side...
Hey bud, your pretty good at breaking stuff. Bring her home go to work on the other side then once you fix it take her back.

Removed the drivers door key lock because for some reason the key did not operate that lock. I re-keyed the lock to fit the key but as I was putting the chrome trim piece back on the tumbler I slipped and put a mini screwdriver through my finger. Ohh, Scube Steve!" In the side and out the front. That is what happens when you use a tool in a way it was not designed for.
