Picked up another one over the weekend.

2005 F250 6.0 CCSB FX4 Lariat. Paid $6000. Needs some love and attention. Has a bad coolant temp sensor so it reads hot all of the time. AE said 276 degrees at KOEO after sitting for four days. Already have one on the way. Not to mention the green coolant.

The driver's seat is done and I need the 40/20/40 front bench instead of the buckets anyway. I was at a local wrecking yard picking up a transmission for my 97 F350 on Tuesday and what did I happen to stumble across?

Now all I need is a driver's side mirror, a tailgate, and a bedliner. I have a buddy who is selling my an 08 tailgate with step for $150 and I found a Ford bedliner locally for $50. Hopefully, I can be as lucky with the mirror too.

You lucky dog, I found a lariat for 5K but the engine is toast. Those seats would look good in my truck....

Changed the Driver's Door Weatherstrip (shuts like new again)
I tried that Weatherstrip Mod but the clear vinyl tubing was way too hard & the medical tubing cost like $30 (probably would have worked alot better than the clear vinyl)
but hell the new OE seal was only $62

Nice score Duck fan! Is it studded?

I put the new tires on the 6.0 today and took out more leaves with it. Before I always noticed it didn't have a gas pedal, I drove it 4 times today and didn't notice it DID have a gas pedal all day. Those little commodities you just over look and don't think about till they are gone.

Installed the 08 mirrors just in time to go and pickup our new 5th wheeler from the dealer. While going up Cuesta grade on US 101 (6%, 4 miles) had to stop and put a CAC boot back on that blew off. The one on the hot side between the turbo and the tube. Was fortunate enough to have a 7/16 wrench on hand and didn't lose the clamp. My wife was gracious enough to take a photo.

Nice. After I blew a boot off, I decided to use some stainless tie wire to secure both clamps with a wrap to the alternator bracket just so they didn't get lost.

Not yet. I am trying to get some of the other details sorted. Studs/gaskets/etc. will probably happen in a week or two. I have to get all that green coolant out anyway.
