Yep. Bearings are shot. I just can't seem to catch a break. The good news is that I won't have any thumping, banging or vibrations when I'm done. The bad news is that I won't be able to leave the driveway because I'll be broke LOL.

They say the hubs/bearings take a beating when you do large tires/lift. If you remember the truck had 37.5" tires on it when I got it. CRAZY!!!!

Yeah, plus you said it looked wet when you took the hubs out. Make sure to replace the seal in the back, where the bearing sits. There is another bearing inside of the spindle that the axel rides on, but if your not going down that far, don't worry too much about it

Just chalk it up to preventive maintenance, something the truck didn't see a lot of, that's becomeing apparent, Eh?

Yes sir. Besides the suspension/lift, the truck is a great one. It's obvious prior owner didn't do much PM.

After all the suspension I'm hoping to chase down a oil leak. I've heard these powerstrokes are prone to leaking somewhere or other.

Looking forward to towing the trailer this year and riding the ATV's!

They leak, but usually not real bad. even our 02, with less than 20,000 miles, has moisture on places, but it never drips. I don't fret too much about it.

If that truck pulls a trailer like ours, you'll be happy

What are you pulling with your truck? Ya I suspect I won't have any issues pulling. LOL. The loaded up weight is probably around 8k max and that's guessing high.

We have a 30' jayco travel trailer. We also have an equipment trailer, but I usually use the 89 F 350 to pull that

Your truck has no issue pulling the 30' jayco? Ever taken it up and down the mountains like western maryland or wva? If so, did it do ok?

It pulls up south mountain at 70 from the bottom. By the time we hit the top, it's going 60.

Your trailer sits lower to the ground, so you should be better off. I do have a cap on that truck, I don't know if that helps or not
