Jim, I actually got on this 48-56 forum by mistake because I thought that I had posted on the 1961-63 forum or thereabouts. My truck is a 1961 ford f100. However, I am glad that you sent me your reply and find your truck and situation interesting. From what I can gather you have a 1956 ford f100 truck that is or was in sweden and is being restored back to whatever changes were made to it while it was owned buy someone in that country who you bought it from. Can you give me some backgroung. In the picture the truck looks like it already is in good condition. Regards, ron

Hi Ron

I think we should keep this "Members build thread" free from question and disscussion.

I have updated the blog with some info:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post13567507

Lets take the disscussion over here in the build thread instead. You are more than welcome

Best regards Jimmy

54 F100 new to me !

I just purchased a 54 ford f100.
It is un-molested and in pretty nice shape. I intend to keep the original drivetrain. I am looking to bolt on a few upgrades ie intake, carb, headers, lower the stance but otherwise keep it stock. I am told the engine may have been replaced with a 57 y block...how do i confirm this?

I like what i see on mummert's site...anyone with comments on their experience with them and their products would be welcome.

Thats it for now...doing alot of reading on the forum...its great stuff !
