I am always down to help out another guys truck, you in Vegas?
Switching up the color a bit, I did some test spray with the white suede and didn't like as much as I thought I would, so the final decision is Oxford White with a silver pearl, she shall be known as "The Pearl" at least by my wife, hehe

Oxford white is a nice color. My 96 was Oxford white with a red stripe down the body line.

FWIW--My 96 bronco (eddie bauer) is oxford white, color code YZ and my 97 F350 is oxford white with a color code of YO...I am not sure what the difference is with the different color codes but my bronco (YZ) "seems" to be a touch brighter. Probably just my old eyes or the paint is just in better condition due to the bronco being stored in the garage its whole life and the bronco gets waxed where as the truck doesn't...?

Sounds like a cool color combo!!

It is odd, my 96 Ranger was YZ and my 98 Explorer is YO, I see no difference, maybe a difference chemical in the base?

White is a great choice, specially in places with warm climates. It's also great at not showing dirt and hiding defects.

This is a big reason for going white, the body will not be perfect, but I think it will be good enough for me, and my first resto job. I figure if it is 5-10 foot truck I will be happy!

Got all the jambs, the interior and the inside of the passenger door painted.
3 coats of Oxford White, 3 coats of color binder with silver pearl and 3 coats of clear, it is nice!

Hard to see the pearl since it is in the garage and not in the sun but it is there

Dave, take the tailgate hangers (the cords) and cover the metal extremes with POR-15 or rustoleum, believe me, mine rusted quite fast because I didn't do it.
