Haven't done anything with the ford yet, but on my yukon XL, when I went to ten ply tires VS the soft originals, I lost about 1.5 MPG. and that was with same sized tires.
I have 20" tires with the 3.55 ELD rear end. I get between 18 - 21 MPG highway (I have seen better but consider it circumstantial such as long downward slope with the wind at my back, etc.), 17 - 19 MPG rural, 15 - 17 MPG city (suburbs not stop and go like Chicago, etc.), and 11 - 13 MPG towing about 14K pounds. Time of year, speed, tire inflation, seasonal fuel blend, number of regens, use of 4X4, etc. all have an impact on the mileage.
