Should I snag this truck, 2010 F250 (diesel)

Last fall, I sold my Harley F150 and I have been needing to pick up another truck. I have (2) boats, horse trailer, and a 5th wheel camper but no truck anymore. Ive just been making due with my work truck and the lexus. Well, Im being offered a 2010 F250, 4 door, FX4, leveling kit, aftermarket rims, 35" Toyo Open Country's, with 100,000 miles (give or take). Truck spent alot of time on the road. Ive heard some up and downs (mostly downs) about the 6.4L. Any opinions?

Price is $16,500. I looked up the nada and it showed a lil over 25,000 for it but Im still not looking to buy a problem. Any opinions? If I did get it, what are some "prevent" mods that may help it stay away from issues?

Fuel mileage was not a strong point for the 6.4L PSD. Use a fuel additive that adds lubricity to keep your injectors happy. Head down to the 6.4L PSD engine forum and read what those owners are doing to increase reliability.
