I put 2 1/2 inch spacers to level my truck so I could fit some 31 inch tires. I had to bend the I-beams to aligned it...everything worked out alright, but I wish to lift it just a little more maybe just one more inch because the front is just a little lower than the back. I just want the front to look just a little higher. my question is. is there anything that I can do to lift it that much..maybe put new coils or some bigger ones...I figure since the stock springs are still on they could be worn out... .any suggestions?
check Autofab Offroad Trucks - I think they have a 3" lift coil. Call if you don't see it on the site as they do have a lot of stuff that they don't list online. If your beams are already bend for the lift the coils may work without having to re-bend.
The coils springs that I have are the stock ones and they look worn out. do you think if I replace them for some new ones I would get a little more height?
you could try what i did... air shocks, check out my pic album, i used the monroe air shocks for the back of the truck(they dont make them for front applications) they work great gave me at least 1 3/4"
i think at one time i was playin with a moog coil spring catalog and thought i could get 2-3" by puttin 4*4 coils on it but would have to bend them beams. id rather extend the axle bushing bracket down with square tubing and make a camber adjustment there. i found pics of a guy doing that but he said it took hours of geometry to finally get right. since i have two trucks one might have to be a test vehicle
