It worked for me on 2.3

When my 92 Ranger 2.3 had nearly 170,000 mile's I dicided to rebuild it. (It was getting tired) I did all the usual thing's like .030 over bore, machined the crank, reconditioned the rod's, new cam & follower's, you know the routine. But I went a little further by using Forged piston's, "Moly" ring's, and slightly larger cam. Had the block, head decked a total of .040. When I started driving it I got a " Check Engine" light. The code said it was running lean. After adding larger injector's ( 4lb's) got another light saying it was rich. After talking to a few racing friend's I installed an adjustable pressure regulator and upped the pressure by 4 lb's, and now the truck run's great with more power and fantastic milage.( nearly 33mpg on open road)

Question It worked for me on 2.3

I'm looking to do the same thing to my 89 2.3 . Want to tow a 6 x 10 enclosed trailer, for go karts. Who has the best choice of parts, especially a better towing cam?
Thanks,
Mike

I think you'll find that Racer Walsh is the best way to go.
