1956 Volare Front-end Trouble

On my 56' ford I have a Volare front end. whenever I hit a bump or drive for awhile the wheels tow in. Then when I back up the wheels get straight. Or when I jack up the front end to look at it the wheels straighten right up.So, I'll start driving it again and the wheels tow in again. Does anyone know what is wrong with my truck?

Start checking for loose bolts and bushings in the entire front suspension. Check the bushing at the end of the torsion bar, where it mounts to the lower control arms very close. They are expensive and people don't change them when they do a Volare sometimes. Your symptoms point to that.
