is this a ok cam for 351M

I'm finally getting a small amount of money saved up so i can start rebuilding the motor in my 1978 F150, the motor ran but wasn't powerful at all and it ran okish. so last summer i pulled it out and tore it down to the bare block with the crank and pistons still in her. the cam, and lifters are completely shot, all round down to almost nothing and the cam bearings are shot also. I was going to install a Comp cam but like i said i have a very small amount of money to work with, so i found this today on sale at summit racing
Summit Racing SUM-K5200 - Summit Racing® Cam and Lifter Kits - Overview - Summit Racing.com
is it OK just for a 50/50 daily driver running stock 3.50 gears and stock 32 inch tall tires? I also have a edlerbrock aluminum intake and 600cfm matching carb to put on the motor when i get it finished finally

Yeep that looks like a good cam to me! Anything with a 260-270ish will give you good torque and DD ability. If you're getting all of that, I'd imagine you've got a gasket set, so why not set the timing straight up? You'd get smore grunt out of the old block

I have the second cam, had it in an engine almost exactly like you're proposing, and loved it, and I'm about to put it in my next build!

I had it in a 400, stock dished pistons, Weiand alu intake, Holley 600, headers, straight up timing. I had heavy valve springs in the engine too, but that was the only real difference between yours and mine. I had a C6 auto, with a stock converter. It had superb power into the upper range (of a truck), though it was just a little weaker than a stock cam right at the bottom, right off idle, but I really really liked it, it was just a fun cam.
