would like to see duty cycle up around 50%

run it on the 220v and get the bottle don't use that flux-core it is junk

I emailed my rep at miller and he said good welder for home use just don't do any continuous welds longest weld you want to do is 60 seconds

Well back at it this week. I have the Idea for the tank done I believe 26Lx34Wx14D I already have the Wema sending unit that I bought for the original tank plan so I will keep the same depth on the new Idea of 14". I am going to use a welded sump instead of the Hellman sump from the original idea. I am getting the AirDog Fuel Air Separation System 100 GPH (A4SPBD000) so I will run the male feed fitting behind or just below the crossmember to protect it and then just plug the female fitting from the FSS right to it.

This is the sending unit

Gonna do this myself one of these days, but I've got a question... I've seen these jacks several times that guys have used to take cabs off, but I can't for the life of me find them or figure out what they're even called. What are they and where can I get them?

All we have ever called them were body jacks couldn't tell you where we got them I have a gantry hoist now which works much better.

Hey bud, any progress on her? If you need some motivation I could come over and BS you to death, maybe even help lift something heavy, haha.

I am getting geared up to start on my 67 crew. What part of town are you in? Would love to swing by and check out the project!

I know this is old but thats 30% duty cycle with the welder turned all the way up to full amps. How often do you weld 3/8" plate? I have a 211 and have used it to weld toghether a full tube chasis. Its a great welder for the price. Very rarely will I do a full min long weld. Its usually weld a little fit a part move to a different spot weld a little etc.
