Quick intro and questions

Hi All, [quick introduction] just picked up a 35 1/2t truck from California, pretty much original other than juice brakes, 40 wheels and lowering. I'll put up pics soon with more detail.

Can someone help me with the following.

Is the steering wheel simply bolt on? the owner said something like you have to pull the shaft and all out , seemed like a bit of a task..

also .. Im no expert here but from what I can see its all standard suspension other being lowered by re-setting the springs. I have purchased Pete & Jakes 5001 and 1070 shock kits to replace the lever shocks but I would like to know if there is anti swaybars or anything else that would help in the way of making it handle while remaining in its [fairly] stock form.
Regards, Rob

Rob, I think Chris left that truck mostly all stock, so if it had the stock column the light switch on the wheel, you have to remove the switch and rod before the wheel.

Round thing

Yes its stock 'ecpt the 40 steering box. Ive been reading up about wheel removal ...Chris did go through it with me but I thought I would check..Gawd what a task !! The steering wheel on it is showing its age [which is fine] few cracks, bits broken off and I though maybe I could get a new one before it leaves to save on shipping, Thats why I asked about other componants to, suspension, handling etc.. Get it now before it goes!
