Although i don't adjust mine often, the fact i can move the pedals is wonderful.
With the memory feature two drivers can each save their setting. if, you ever let somebody else drive.

My wife loves driving big trucks, as she always puts it, chicks in trucks are sexy. Of course she is also 5.5 so the adjustable pedals come in handy. It's a nice break from here Escape every once in a while. Given her druthers she still prefers me to drive when we go somewhere though.

My 03 has a little plastic knock out where the pedal switch would go, so if I added it I would just have to remove that plug..

If you have the knockout, then you also have the wiring harness for everything.

Wonder if it's really a knockout, vs. an outline in the dash panel where the switch should go?

I see many of the XLT Ex have the panel with the outline of where the switch goes like this...

It's a knockout with the electrical connector for the switch (if there was a switch) attached to the back of it.

That's where I mounted the switch that powers the back-up camera I installed on my old truck. I tapped into the wire that was attached to the back of the knockout to power the switch.

WOW. Do you have a picture of the backside of the panel that hold the 4x4 switch/electric defroster/backup disabled switch(es)??

I want to install some LEDs and switch(es) into the extra space on that panel, and don't want to just TRY to pry off the cover plate and end up breaking some tab(s)..
