Cleaned up the Turbo

Decided to clean up the turbo this weekend. I removed it and stripped the ported housing of the purple paint that was peeling off. Sanded the housing smooth and then squirted the primer, color, and clear coat on it. It won't show all that much once installed, but it looks sweet!

I ended up shooting it the same color as my truck (paint code CX, Dark Shadow Grey).

Looking good, the purple just doesn't coincide with the other components in the engine bay.

I used high temp primer and clear coat. The base color is normal automotive paint. I have watched the temps on the housing and feel it will hold up fine. If it doesn't........I will pull it and polish it!

Looks good. To bad you didn't get the unpainted one to start, it would of saved you some stripping work.
