vin decode
I just picked up a 75 bronco for a customer and need to decode the vin. I figured I would post here instead of searching all night online for the info. It needs alot of work, I will start a build thread in the next few weeks when we start tearing it apart.

Build month was August 74 and while "W" was not a 75 color code, 74 lists it as LtGinger Metallic. http://www.broncohio.com/tech/ebvins.html

No off rd (& may B no weight carried?) an uncut Looks Nice (2 some). May B suggest he look @ BFG TO/KO - comes in a 33/9.50 that would B good on gas, great for rd or dirt rds (even some wheelin, I mean why have 4WD?), look good AND fit in an uncut rear...
now to the pic. we love pic!!!
EDIT: OK had a look - is that 6 window frames or doors? Nice option - the frames R removable...when top is off, windshield down - U can pull them (3 bolts @ striker, 2 @ hinge ends - his yr, if it is, ford just welded thru the bolt holes) for a smooth look or nothing taller than the steering wheel! Mine's a wrk truck n needs to get under some pretty low stuff (no high back seat 4 me!).

Again, if the customer goes for this major rebuild (& from what U say bout the doors & what I C in the pic) U can make the removable frames. I've done it - got 5 doors & 2 of em had frames good enuff 4 the mod. Just drill out the 5 spot welds on each. When U take off the panels just look inside to find the long channels for the glass. Look for the lill legs that angle 90* off. Look @ the 'dimples' where spot welded in striker and hinge's 2 'edges'...
Not too hard for a fabricator like I assume U 2 B (or U Rcrawler).

I've modified a few non removeable frame doors. They don't turn out as nice as what the factory built. This is why the 68 doors are so sought after.
I misunderstood what you were trying to say in your post. Just wanted to clarify that not all frames are removeable, or at least meant to be.
