1961 F-100 HEADLINER

Hey fellas,
In process of restoring my 1961 F-100 stepside and need to order new headliner for cab..Using LCM catalog,I see for `61-`64 non unibody only have option of 2 piece headliner?I like the `57-`60 type 4 piece kit with two side flaps but wonder if will fit in my `61?..or do I have to go with 2-piece for `61-64?Any help would be greatly appreciated before I order the wrong piece..thanks!....Josiedad

Order it from Dennis Carpenter, as LMC is a middleman and jacks up the price.

I thought the 61-66 had the same 4 piece kit?? Better check on that.

Regardless, I got mine from DC and they are awesome.

61-63 or 4 have the lower roof and use the two piece kit, the 65-66 trucks take the 4 piece kit because of the higher roof line. and X2 on buying from Dennis Carpenter.

Welcome to FTE!

headliners

There are several places to get your parts. LMC is cheaper on some, Dennis Carpenter is cheaper on some, you get the idea. Mac's and Dennis Carpenter seem to have a little better quality on most items. Also check out f100.com they have more hard to find parts at reasonable prices. I just put in a fairly large order and used all 4 of these companies. By checking prices at all of them I saved about 150$.

I located one in less than 60 seconds but it was on the expensive side ($185).

I used this site:

Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market

I have found some good deals on there in the past. I guess it all depends on what you are looking for and how rare it is.

Lots of junkyards will have them. I just saw nice a pair of exhaust manifolds for a 66 352 last week. The trick is to check yards that show inventory online, like Pick-n-Pull out here, or let you fingers do the walking & call yards up before you drive out to try a pick.
