In Sandy Eggo:

1) Limiteds (only 1 seen)
2) Harley's (only 1 seen)
3) SCrews with 6.5' bed (only 1 seen)
4) Plat's (only 3 seen)

I see far more Rapt's than Plat's (3:1 ratio)...

I still maintain the position that the rarest of all of the 09-present model year F150's are the ones with no lien against them (paid for) in the entire country.

I'm driving a rare one around here.2012 F150 supercrew Platinum with 6.5' bed and 6.2l. According to 2012 brochure you can only get the Plat s/crew with 6.5' bed and 5.0 or ecoboost. But my dealer ordered the 6.2 and I got it.Never seen another one or been able to find one online. Everything around here is ecoboost and mostly the shorter bed.

anything that's NOT a screw/5.5' or scab/6.5' is rare around here. and dont even think about a reg cab unless you want a long bed XL. 95% are 4x4's
I am personally looking for a 2wd rcab/6.5' 5.0 XLT or STX. if I search enough I can find rcab short bed stx 3.7's and I can find XL rcab long bed's with 3.7 5.0 and 3.5's all day long.
I am starting to consider a rcab/6.5 XL 5.0 with the power pkg and just have the grille/bumpers painted

I guess I'm one of those "rare" types as I paid mine in full

Tho it helps that it was after a very long deployment!

My truck. No others like it. Long story, took over a week to get it, but my dealer bought it from another dealer while it was on a delivery truck heading to LA. It was shipped back to FL, and I took delivery.

It's a 2010 FX4 SuperCrew Cab, 6.5' bed, Red Candy Metallic paint, 5.4L, max tow package, sunroof, etc. Not seen another like it. Dealer searched 1600 other dealerships, this was the only one in July 2010.

we had a really rare bird on our used car lot a couple weeks back. it was soo rare that I didnt even know they made them on 09+
A FLARE SIDE BED
we had a red 09 or 10 super cab flare side 4x4. I honestly thought the flare side bed died with the 04-08 body style.
I then got curious and started looking on autotrader,cars.com, etc and found a whopping 3 of them out of 12xx trucks. lol.
so yes I would consider 09+ flareside trucks to be the rarest of all 09-12's. and not just in this area but everywhere.

At the dealerships around here its 6.5ft bed Screws that are rare. Looked all over for one. Found one but it sold the day before I could get it. Going out of state tomorrow to pick one up for myself. Have yet to see anything non-raptor with a 6.2. Also haven't seen any '09+ hd pkg f150s.

I'm all for you being proud to have yours paid for with no debt, I assume. And it's great, but I don't get how you can identify the rest of the paid in full models.

Additionally, new car loans are very cheap money. It's not a bad thing if you have a good sized down payment and get a loan for less than 6%. What's the issue?

Now to the thread, I see very few 150s anymore. Lots of 2000 and up super duty trucks, a few ecoboost trucks.
