Does anyone have any suggestions on what tool to use to remove the water separator valve on a 1995 7.3? Every wrench that I have is too big to fit in the space. I'm sure I'm missing something real simple but I can't figure out what to use.
Should be held on bytwo 13 mm bolts..you will need a 13" extension and patience...also you need to disconnect the 3 fuel line clamps and the IPR wiring harness /water in fuel / restriction sensor......you might even have a clamp and a hose attached to the front , at the bottom of the drain valve.....
I'm just trying to remove the valve from the bowl, not the whole bowl. It is 2 T20 (I believe) screws but the most thoughtful engineers failed to design any clearance once it is all assembled. I'm thinking that removing those 13mm bolts might be my only hope of getting clearance though so that might be my ticket. Thanks.
