Hey guys. I've been lurking on FTE since around 04 and finally decided to get involved around here. I live in far Northern Cali in Humboldt County. My pride and joy is a mint 2WD 96 Eddie Bauer F150 shorty. Equipped with the legendary 300 backed by a M5OD and 3.55's. Thanks for the welcome. Glad to be a part of the chapter!

Welcome! We have a another member from your area, Sparky2531. He hasn't posted here much lately, I believe he's wintering down in So.Cal, probably too busy chasing little white golf ***** around to get on here...

 

Well, at least he's not chasing those little white golf ***** around in the snow. Prolly pretty nice weather down in SoCal.
Hey, I just got an idea. If it continues to snow through Easter, I can skip coloring the Easter eggs for the grand kids.

 

Ha, good for him. I'd love to get out of here away from the fog and rain during the winter.

 

Big welcome! Great drive train combo! Does it get about 17 mpg?

 

Thanks Nevrenufhp. I searched out this exact truck for a long time before I finally found it. The truck gets a consistant 16 in town and I can push it to 19 on the hwy. With its original 2.73 gears it was out of it's power range and actually got about 4mpg less.

 

That is a nice looking truck. 16 in town eh? I should look for one of those as my daily driver.
