2005 Excursion with 6.0

So I just got my SCT iTSX in the mail today. Got the firmware all updated on the device and the latest iTSX software on the iPhone.

Everything works great (gauges, diagnostics, etc.) except the programming. When I go into the programming mode, I get an error stating that my vehicle is not supported. Of course it is supposed to be supported, but mine just won't work.

Called SCT and they told me that my strategy was too old, and that I would have to have it updated at the dealer before the iTSX would be able to work with it.

I just can't believe that's true. It just doesn't make sense to me.

My current strategy is VXDB1MZ * TQBF0M2.

Any thoughts on whether the guy I spoke to at SCT is correct? What's the date of my current strategy?

I have studs and an EGR delete, and I want to get rid of my CEL.
