I am back home, opened the garage only to see a complete disaster! Yes I might be a hoarder...2 motorcycles, a scooter, 3 snowmobiles...parts and tools and boxes scattered all over...I can barely walk in the garage, much less, work on the truck..
So I sat down a drew up some plans, went to the zoning office for a building permit...i am adding on to the garage!
I currently have a garage 24' wide x 26' long. I am adding to the side, 18' wide x 26' long, pole barn type addition. white rock floor(for now) I gotta get some stuff outta my way...

I used a stick welder, and yes, it is tough to do a nice weld between that spring pocket/ upper control arm area. I still need to try and clean that up...looks like line of mouse turds all glued together...NOT PRETTY...

Funny how a 2.5 car garage isn't enough room for one truck project!
I have needed more space for a long time. Last winter when I was home, I tried to maneuver around stuff, shooting for progress, but I spent more time spinning circles...looking like a dog trying to find a comfy spot before finally laying down. Couldn't focus, couldn't do anything...finally getting frustrated to the point of going in the house and watching TV....
Not this year!

A little progress in pics
Looks like something from the Beverly Hillbillies!<br/>Cab removal with no help.
Working on filling unnecessary holes, stripping down to bare metal. I have a few items to clean up on the firewall. Using a DA sander with 80 grit and gonna sandblast tomorrow. Weather pending. I will have more pics soon. My goal is to get the firewall totally finished and when i mount the cab again, it should not need to come off again.

Lookin good Jeff. Glad to see you back at the old 321. I think alot of us run into the same problems with life taking us away from our hobby. And I also had to find more room. I think my stuff is breeding. I may need to separate it at some point. Good idea with the cherry picker cab removal. My new property is going to have a A frame large enough to pull cabs. Just as soon as I get a few hundred other things done. Keep up the good work!
