If he uses an isolator, he won't need a switch. Much cleaner.

Battery Isolator

78-f150,go to powerstream.com and take a look at the PST-SBI-3112, this takes all the guess work out of the equation. This is what I am putting in my truck along with the PST-SSB2180 for protecting my auxiliary battery as I run an inverter and a future winch.
