PickupTrucks:SD Gets New Grill For 2013

I don't see it...Looks the same to me.What's your take on it?

I have heard that the 2014 SD was gonna be completly redesigned,But if their putting a new grill on for '13,I can't see them doing another new design a year later.

Hard to tell behind the cover...maybe a mid run cosmetic update. Or just a random picture of a bad winter cover in a Walmart parking lot?

It looks like they are still going with those BUTT UGLY [ ] cheek pieces on the grill that looks like this [=o=] with that big pizza pan sized FORD Blue Ovule in the middle. The after market will have a big pay day replacing that grill. IMHO

Looks like a King Ranch without the two-tone paint job front end. In fact, the body color front bumper lessens the impact of the massive chrome grille, I hope they change that for 2013 or make it an option.

I have been told it is pretty common for a auto mfg to update the front end just prior to a major over haul to test the cooler effect and such of the up coming cosmetic change.

I hope Ford tweaked the engine a little to get as much torque as the 6.2L in the F150.

Mark
Looking for new truck.

Yep. These are the same goofballs that took a "spy" picture of an XL work truck with a boss plow mount and said Ford was playing with them with that prototype with a boss motor. Another slow news day...
