Signal lights problems
I'm sure you guys can help. I'm trying to get my signal lights to working on my (1959 f100) truck, but so far no luck. Can you guys give me any pointers on what to do or try? The headlights were an easy fix, as all was needed was a new dimmer switch, but the signal lights are proving to be more difficult.

Juette; I'm not sure just what is stumping you.
I will try to explain as best I can how the turn signal switch is wired. First you should have six wires attached to the signal switch two going to the front blinkers and feeding the interior indicators, then two going to the rear blinkers which are also the brake lights. then the last two wires would be power wires, one from the accessory post on your ignition switch. This one should have the flasher inline. The flasher can be found attach to the under side of the dash above and forward of the light switch, if it is where mine is. The last wire would be coming from the brake light switch on your master cylinder and feed from the A post on your light switch.
Clear as mud??
There is an outfit on Ebay that sells wiring diagrams for 20.00 or so.
Good luck
