Camping? Hmmm... where could I get a camper... much less get one financed...

 

I think the car show idea is great. centrail to most all and lots of nice cars and trucks to look at. I for one am up for it. lets do it.

 

May is not looking good for me. Jeep blessing May 5th and will be in Wisconsin visiting me mother on the 13th. Then Indiana for Mem day...

 

Have fun at the blessing. I grew up there. Parents still live there. Its only 25 minutes away.

 

I guess we will have to figure out something different then that car show, it's a 3 day event

We can still look at Fitzgerald park the 6th if people want to meet up then.

 

I think that we have people with a lot of different interests. We have some whose vehicle will not make it across the state and others who are uncomfortable with coming anywhere near a metro area. We may want to break this up into several events and not try to include everyone. Even if you found the ideal location then you have the problem of conflicting events like other shows, babies born, vacations, etc. I think that if a few of you want to get together you should plan to do so, invite the rest of us and see who else can make it. IMHO when you are dealing with a state as big as Michigan it is impossible to get everyone to agree.

 

That is exactly how all of these are set up, also the reason that I ask to see who, when and where to find a spot that most can make it.

 

My vote is for either the 12th or 13th where ever. I busy the 6th. I think Saturday would possibly be a better idea since Sunday is Mothers Day but whatever. Just throwing that out there.
We should also attempt to plan a weekend in the summer in Traverse City or surrounding area. I think a few of us have boats and there are quite a few trails/gas lines we can cruise. Just keep the thread updated so I can plan on the weekend in May.

 

Alot of us work on saturday so sunday works best, The park worked well last time and everyone will have about the same drive time. fair for all.
Pot luck works. I can make it. Sunday. As for other issues well I will just zip it. I enjoy our G2G`s and make as many as I can.

OK, so who might be up for a GTG on the 29th of April, looks like the beginning of May is busy for a lot of us.

I would like all to chime in one way of another for the 29th of April, keep in mind this is family/pet friendly. Nice day to just hang out and meet each other or catch up on those that have met already.

Fitzgerald park, in Grand Ledge. BYOB, and a dish to pass. There are grills there to grill out whatever.......and maybe even the fairy will show back up. I'm sure the glow worm will make it......

We need to put this in stome so everyone has time to plan on attending.

April 29th should work for me. I have two campers to get to Silver Lake, blah blah, but I'll do my best to get there. I'm Frequently Only Requiring Drinks....

 

IT WORKS FOR ME. iT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE MORE OF OUR MEMBERS SHOW UP BUT THE STANDARD 10 TO 12 OF US WILL STILL HAVE A GOOD TIME. MAY BE ABLE TO BRING THE 4 LEGGED ONE AS WELL. JUST HAVE TO SEE HOW THINGS TURN OUT.
