What cold air intake to use?HELP

Right now i have the K&N cold air intake in my 6.4L. (Part 57-2576)
I have been reading on some posts not to use the K&N cold air intake because they do damage to your turbo. Is this true please tell me why if it is and what make AFE or the other brands so much better.

I have no personal experience with K&N filters, but from what I understand, the K&N filter is great for air flow. Not so good for filtration.

I would stray away from a K&N and towards a S&B. Thats what I have and its a great filter.

If you are running low tunes you don't need a intake , the stock one flows a lot of air.

I've read that on here a number of times. However, I have a 35HP tune on an Edge racing evolution and the filter minder keeps popping in about half way. So, doesn't that mean I need a mod of some kind?

When was the last the you changed your filter?

I run up to 210hp and mine has never moved. If your minder has been sucked in and your filter is clean, then I would say yes to an intake.

You running stock air filter?

Yeah, a new filter is the first thing I tried but of course it couldn't be that easy. UGA33, is that minder from ford or after market?

As soon as i put in the tuner i had the truck on 75HP with all the emisions still it started to say check air filter about every 100 miles then once i put a 5' from the turbo back with a 6' tip it would pop up every 10 mins so thats when i got the K&N cold air intake. I have just heard on a lot of posts that K&N and turbos do not mix well.....

I am going to try I got the intake at the end of the summer, on the K&N website they always talk about 100% satisfaction so i am going to ask and see what they say. I have the box still i think but all i can do is ask and see. If i get a S&B do you think i should go dry vs oil?
