Disk brake help

Hey guys I have a question. I have a 56 f-100 currently at the body shop I wanted to know if anyone knows of a rear disc conversion? Where I don't have to change out the rear end. I have searched and I can't find the answer to this specific question.

If you have the stock Dana 44 rear axle, google "dana 44 rear disc conversions" and you will get a lot of different manufacturers and prices for a disc conversion. Personally, I would swap to a 9" axle just to have a better selection of gear ratio's available, but that's up to you and your powertrain. On the other hand, there is really nothing wrong with good condition properly adjusted drum brakes.
