Maine's March BS Thread!

Feels like we might finally see some winter!

Oh well... I just hope I get some good maple-sugaring weather!

Have a great day all, and if you're on the roads today, drive safe!

happy Friday Maine!
well, truck is supposed to be done today or possibly mid week, next week.haven't heard anything yet.
sure feels strange to be without a truck.especially when it snows! lol.that snow blowing business is a much colder way to get things done.

well i called and everything is going smooth.they have most of the body work done now.any of the larger dents are a thing of the past, holes welded up (where i used a dent puller to pull some dents and factory mirror holes etc) smoothed out and they're replacing the cab corners now.so body work is coming to a close.she'll be getting hit with primer on Monday.
im gunna check it out to make sure the amount of $ gets me what im after before they spray,or if i have to pay a bit more to really polish it off by having 'em go over a few smaller dings and what not.now's the time to have it really smooth if i want,so we'll see.sounds like they've got it well into the level im after though.i wouldn't worry so much, but the colors are dark, according to research, the darker colors (especially the black center of the tu-tone) really shows up imperfections.the more i read about newer trucks, the more it convinces me to keep this one for as many years as i can.so better not have any regrets cus i cheaped out on body work.
so i guess not until the end of next week until its done.ah the suspense.

yeah.these $4.20+ diesel fuel prices sure have me concerned about cutting into my overhead this year.its getting just plain stupid now (as if it wasn't already.) i have got to get my turbo on,and build up a whole new redesign for my dump body when i get my truck back.
i have got to get my 14.5 average upwards closer to 17-18.i may be forced to go back to SRW and drive a max of 40 mph instead of 45.
i predict seeing myself removing quick lightweight removable dump body sides throughout the day,and removing/installing as needed (daily/weekly) my outside wheels to combat the prices this year.thankfully the truck is pretty much done of large expenses now or id be in big trouble.
