What problems would a high reading on this sensor cause? Sitting over-night it's showing 147* F. Having long cranking time at normal operating temps. Hoping not a HPOP problem. Running now to see what this reading changes too when warm. '07 F-350 6.0
Check the wiring for a chaffing issue. Not sure exactly what that reading will cause the PCM to do with such a large difference between IAT and IAT2 as far as fueling goes on start up but you could disconnect it (PIA, I know) and make it go to a default condition to see if that aleviates the long crank time.
What kind of VRef voltage are you getting? Check the harness at the left fender liner also. Chaffing not usually a problem with 07's. Has the harness been butchered and have you checked the fan connector? Any aftermarket modifications?
