Man, you guys have entirely too many laws/rules out that way. Everyone here pretty much has alchohol with them on the river or lakes. Now, you can get into trouble still, but you really have to be acting like an idiot.

And the Marine Police are NJ State troopers, packing their 9mm and they have a Homeland patrol boat with some heavy heat!
Morning Neil! Steve, we just have the coast guard, and the occasional Sheriff wandering the river. They do set up check points, but they are always in the same spot, so we know where not to put in, so we won't have to deal with them!
