I have come across a Lightning engine for sale and was wondering if Anyone knows if you can swap the Lightning 5.4 into a 2000 f150 4x4 with a 4.2 v6 and a 5 spd manual? Or will this be to tricky to even bother it being a 4x4 manual transmission?
any help would be great

 

i can be done,you would have to get the entire harness,ecu, and a new bellhousing for the trans, as well as a new flywheel and clutch setup, the only this that might be tricky is finding someone who can figure out the tuning the lightning did not offer a manual trans ecu

 

Ya I want sure if the transmission would go together, manual could be fun with that motor or rob power. Ill have to put some more pricing together before i try this
