Thanks and welcome! Always nice to pick up another member from the local area (to me...)

Thanks! Have you ever heard of the River Rats? Just wondering, because theres a car club outside of Cedar Rapids, who all have awesome old cars. Last time I drove by their shop in Palo they had a model T looking truck, and a 40's car in the garage. They rent the building across from Brogain's(If you've ever been to palo, you probably know where that is).
Anyway, Any price advice on adding 4x4, under carriage coating, the 5.8L 351(Will it fit my 5.0L 302 tranny, and rear end?), and a 4-6" suspendtion lift? thinking of keeping the original "Sport" Rims. Otherwise, a local price on tires that would fit under the truck would be sweet.
Well, by going to 4x4, you either have to get a trans, or get the tailshaft replaced on yous to accommodate the transfer case. 300-6, 302, and 351W,C all share a common bell pattern. You could likely pick up a complete rusty parts truck and get everything you need all in one shot.
I have heard of/seen some of their vehicles, but that is about it for my knowledge on them. There is a swap meet coming up at Hawkeye Downs, April 13-14. Can't promise you will find what you need, but it is possible.
