Absolutely no electrical power.

I bought this truck as a parts truck but would like to at least be able to check a few things before I start parting it out. I install a good charger battery and this thing doesn't have the first bit of electrical power. Any ideas where to starts. Is there like a single fuse that controls all power.

It's a 98 4.6 4X4 auto. The hot and ground wires are both hooked up.

Thanks,

Gerald

You better lean fast if your going to work on these trucks.
There is a fuse on the fire wall.
Look at the area. The start relay is there as well.
The cables may be bad under the insulation.
Use a voltmeter to have a look.
Look at the fuse boxes, are fuses missing etc?
Get a copy of the Haynes book that has wire drawings in the last chapter, so you know what your looking for.
Good luck.
