Why if the needed work is an "easy fix" would he just go ahead and fix them, shoot them with a coat of primer, then he could easily ask 1.5X as much for them.
If someone wants to supply me with repairable parts, I'll repair them and split the profits when they sell.

That's a great offer, but shipping of some larger items from coast to coast would hamper the profit.

I always like when a sellers states an engine in a car turns over by hand. Most times if an engine will turn over it will start with a little work, especially if it has a basic ignition system. A tune up kit and set of spark plugs is usually all it takes. Whenever I see an ad with "turns over by hand" I just assume they tried to start it and it made a lot of internal noise and the engine needs a lot of work.

I've bought a couple of items from the running board seller on ebay. I always felt like I did ok (wouldn't have bought otherwise) and he's good to work with. I did notice he put a reserve on those boards. But they are probably the nicest long boards I've seen. I hope he does well. That's a sure sign the economy is truly picking up all over.
