I removed my carbon canister because it was causing my fuel tank to fill slowly, apparently a common problem with this year (2005). After removal it fixed the slow fill rate but I have had some rough idle at lights after driving for roughly 15 min. on the highway. If I put it in neutral and rev the engine it smoothes out.
Any idea if this could be related to canister removal? I was thinking maybe there was some kind of vacuum hose from canister to engine but could not find one. How can I fix this without replacing the vapor canister which is $250?
