MRCKNLPS is starting off with a positive reputation.
1959 F100 Parts interchanges with a 1960 F100

Talking to the Previous owner she said that the parts from a 1959 F100 were interchangeable with my 1960 F100, is that correct. I have not seen anything on-line saying it does.

Thanks
Tony

It is quite generally true, with a few exceptions. Most everything from 57-60 will interchange, the exceptions being some sheet metal, some electrical parts such as guages, and some trim parts.Even the sheet metal body parts can be made to fit, if you really need to.I just try to find the correct parts for my year, usually not to difficult.I think that once you've a certain number of posts, you can place ads in our classified section. For particularly difficult to find items, addressing a question in a thread to FTE member NumberDummy, will get a response, usually.Be nice to him,he's lived a rough life. LOL!

P.S. Am I reading that right, is it "Mr Chicken Lips" ?

3414 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
All body parts from 59 and 60 will interchange. Grille, headlamp surrounds, and hood look different from year to year, but can be interchanged. (59 grille and headlamp trim can replace 60 grill and headlight trim.) There are some electrical system differences (wiring harness and light switch mostly) but gauges and all other switches are interchangeable, as are choke and throttle **** cables and vent cables. Seats and interior trim, windows, and door hardware are also interchangeable.
