gear ratio?

Trying to figure out the gear ratio on my 96 f150 5.8L v8 4x4.
I'm tryin to find a spindle and it says I need to know my gear ratio to order part online. There's no tags or id on my rear axle. Any way I can find out?

you can always go to the ford dealer and have them look it up via your vin.. thats what i have had done on some things that i couldn't find the stock tags or numbers stamped in.. which is also the most accurate if you know the vehicle is stock.. many times one year would have different setups completely so all we could do is spitball to what came in that year..
