Best place in Oregon to source body parts?

Hey folks!

What is your recommendation for the best place in the state to purchase body parts from?

I'm looking for the following:

1977 F-250:

Front Driver/Left Fender (prefer Yellow/White two-tone to avoid repaint)
Front Passenger/Right Fender (prefer Black/Silver two-tone to avoid repaint)
Front Passenger/Right "inner" fender

Front Driver/Left Door (prefer Yellow/White two-tone to avoid repaint)
Front Passenger/Right Door (prefer Black/Silver two-tone to avoid repaint)

Hood (prefer Yellow to avoid repaint)

Full Front Grille Assembly

Tailgate (prefer Black/Silver two-tone to avoid repaint)

Various chrome trim pieces for said parts

-----

Is there a yard that specializes in '70's Ford truck stuff?

If you needed 67-72 parts I could help. I have TONS of those, but nothing for dentsides........

Best thing is to look on Craigslist and find a cheap truck for a doner truck. Take the parts you need and resell the rest.

If you want new body parts LMC has a good selection. But they would need to be painted...

When LMC sells a door, is it actually the full door, or is it an outer shell that needs welded to an inner shell?

Just wanted to say thanks again!

Picked up fenders, hood and passenger door, and then after I unloaded the trailer, I stopped by another CL ad, this one local, and picked up a C6 for $75 that appears (and is claimed to be) recently rebuilt, which will be nice as the transmission in the 2WD is kinda wonky. $75 isn't a bad deal to save me some hassle.

On a side note: Is there ANY consistency at all to how mirrors were mounted on these trucks?

Between my two trucks and the door I brought home, the mirrors are of three different type brackets/mounts and hole placements. Crazy.

At that age, there's no telling how many after-market mirrors have been hung on em'.

kythri, did you happen to get a look at the bed? I am looking for another CS bed with the toolbox, as the PO welded the original on mine shut. if it was in usable condition, I was going to drive to Salem for $35 bucks!

also, I am not sure if he is still in business, but Tony's Ford Truck parts used to carry just about everything you can imagine for the Dents...he was located off of Sandy Blvd, Wygant, I do believe. may be a bit of a drive, but i know he had some hard-to-find stuff. again, if he is still around...

I was really interested in it, because I love the idea of that toolbox.

I think it's pretty ratty, but it'd be serviceable if yours was totally mangled. The front of it, where it meets the cab is creased/dented in the middle, like something slammed forward in it, and it's reasonably beat-up.

Thanks. Saves me a trip. My bed isn't too bad...I might be able to cut the toolbox out of a bed in the JY somewhere.

Yeah, there were several (I think the number is 15) styles for the 73-79 Dents. I have been looking for a replacement side mirror myself, but I will have to buy one from LMC.

Post a picture of the one your looking for. I'm getting ready to salvage out a 78.
