Here are a few Pics on the engine stand in Mock up.
Yes we rebuilt the engine completely, new Pistons, valves, camshaft etc.
The Little Motor runs great, it is my first Nailhead and I am really impressed with it. Yours is very, very nice Too!

Hey Tom,
Your's are such custom engines - If you don't mind a few questions..
Can you explain what you have in your F1?
It looks to be a chevy engine... What's the red canister in the F1 picture?
Is that the gas tank in the front right corner of the engine compartment?
The blue hose is some sort of fuel injection?
Just trying to learn - that's a cool truck.

It doesn't look like much yet, but here's the new powerplant for my F-2 fresh from the machine shop. I've got 3 days off this weekend, so hopefully I'll get the bottom end screwed together then. It's a .030" over '94 5.0L block, but it's getting stuffed with a 347 CI stroker kit and will be fed by a custom EFI setup with a blower. This represents my attempt at small block fuel economy, big block power, and driveability that grandma would approve of all in one package. The old flatty will get transplanted and live on in my F1, but this particular rig called for a little more Giddy-Up-Go! The block was cleaned, inspected, bored, decked, torque plate honed, and had new cam bearings and core plugs installed all for $352.28 including parts - and he did a final polish on the new crank for free! My machinist is the BEST IN THE STATE and he works too cheap - but don't tell him I said that!
